“All I want for Christmas is…”
Fill in the blank. Various songs insert “my two front teeth,” or “all I want is you.” More traditional carols mention peace or joy. You may have your own answer.
Our theme that will tie the four weeks of Advent together is contentment—how do we deal with materialism that is designed to breed discontent in our hearts. And discontentment is the root of many other sins including depression, anger, and bitterness.
God’s Word has a lot to say about finding contentment. Join us this December for this special series that will encourage and challenge people of all ages to find contentment. Discover what it is that you really want for Christmas this year and how to be content with what you don’t get.
